Taverna Athos in Frankfurt (Oder)

The food is just super delicious! There is nothing to complain about the service. We love going there.

There is actually nothing to criticize, except that the service, after the very good meal, could have asked from time to time whether you had anything else. With the manageable number of guests, that shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise everything was good, atmosphere, food and drinks 😋👍. Recommendable.

Great feeling in the historic walls. Great location. The food is really good and the portions are more than adequate. The price is a bit higher for this, but this is completely justified. "Medicine" is also not skimpy and the staff always has a casual saying on their lips. That's how we like it. In summer you can also sit outside and watch the goings-on on and along the Oder.

I can only recommend. Very good food, attentive service, great ambience. There were four of us there and we felt very comfortable.

Delicious food, amazing service, a bit pricy but it is ok for the excellent quality and good taste. I would recommend it to others, it is really worth it. The lamb taste is really perfect, the meat is tinder and Juicy, so as the pork steak.

A beautiful location right on the Oder, but unfortunately underground food. I had ordered a calf's liver that was hidden under a huge pile of onions so that I couldn't see what it looked like underneath. After I cut the liver on all sides, I found that it was totally jerky. The little you could eat was totally dry. After the onion dome was dismantled, one saw that there wasn't a nice piece of liver on the plate here, but a knotted mountain of liver. The cook should have seen that. The fries were unfortunately too sloppy. All in all disappointing. My wife ordered Bifteki. A wafer-thin piece of mince was served (what does that have to do with Bifteki?), Which was also totally dry and - apart from lots of garlic - was completely unseasoned. French fries see above I was offered to serve a new liver, which I refused with thanks. Unfortunately, this tavern is not recommended.

Very cozy ambience. Food very good. Somewhat higher in price for FFO. The basement always brings Uzo. :) Unfortunately the billing for several guests was very confused. But the only point of criticism

Very, very nice service. Although I only had one snack, which was really tasty, no differences were made between the guests! Regardless of whether you order a lot or a little, you feel welcome. Very nice!

Sat outside. Very nice view of the Oder. Lots of space. Distances are easily maintained. Food delicious. Especially the gyros. Super nice service

We were here again today after a year (i.e. on vacation) and it was again excellent. The food was delicious, the best metaxa sauce we had in a long time. Ouzo is still very generous .... Always happy!

You are trying. Tables and chairs outside on the odd side are crooked or have a slope because the floor is not level. Too bad, especially since you sit directly on the Oder. Lamb fillet was mediocre. The interior is nice to look at and a place to feel good in bad weather. Overall a "good".

Good food, friendly service, very fond of children, can be recommended without hesitation. There were four of us without a reservation. The shop was quite full. Still get everything in time. Bring a little waiting time, then it will work.

We had a table outside, at the beginning we were served quickly, the drinks and food were served quickly. I had a salad, it was fresh and tasty, my change requests were implemented at no extra charge. However, after the meal and after clearing the service, we felt that the waiters deliberately avoided us. After we asked for a dessert menu, nobody came to take a possible order and after it got too long we had to ask for the invoice three times. Unfortunately, despite the inviting backdrop and the very good food, the service has led to a negative overall impression.

Had dinner with family today and we are absolutely thrilled. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I can only recommend it to everyone 🤩

Really a great restaurant. Very warm and warm service. The ambience is outstanding. An old store. Lovingly renovated and comfortably and modernly furnished. The portions are well balanced even if I think the portion "for the big hunger" could be a little bigger. But that's just a little side note. Unfortunately there were 2 desserts from the menu. A little disappointing for a Wednesday evening, but we found something else and it was also very tasty. All in all a great evening. Maybe optimize a few little things and then I would like to give 5 stars!

Christmas 2019 - on the second day of Christmas we reserved for a family dinner with 13 people in the Taverna Athos. The welcome was friendly and courteous despite the well-staffed restaurant, as was the ordering of drinks and food. It took a little time for the food to arrive, but since there was a lot to tell, it didn't bother. The food was delicious, the portions sufficient. We were very satisfied and would like to thank the entire team.

Great service, high quality institution, the staff speaks a little Russian and the chorus is English. We walked casually while walking around Frankfurt on the odera. It was late and the restaurant closed after 20 minutes, we asked for food, we were very tired and hungry. We had a warm welcome !! An elderly waiter (perhaps he is the owner) treated us to ouzo (twice), we drank excellent Berlin beer, ordered gyros and Greek salad. The portions were huge, please order one dish to start! Despite the late time and closing we were not in a hurry, did not ask to pay it off and leave. At parting, we said a few words pogrecheski, and warmly said goodbye. I recommend this tavern for a delicious dinner and a good time 100% !!! 10 out of 10 *****

Average food, very freindly staff

Delicious food, great taste (no matter if starters or main courses). The portions are a good size. The waiters are super friendly, very attentive and you get your ordered food and drinks quickly. Overall, you can say you feel well cared for and can enjoy your meal relaxed. Nice decor, comfortable chairs and benches. Inside an atmosphere to feel good. We can only recommend the Taverna Athos.

Everything was PERFECT, especially the ouzo drink!

Today we tested the new Greek here in Frankfurt (Oder). It was super tasty, our waitress was super nice and the food came faster than we could watch. ☺ I cannot understand the negative entries. It was very busy and we had to reserve a table, so we were served very quickly. TOP!
